Idea Outpost is a full-service marketing communications agency composed of a group of people who at one-time worked for “big agencies” in Minneapolis. At that time, we worked in 50-floor office buildings with marble floors and piano players in the lobbies. Though the music was soothing, we believed that such amenities did little more for our clients than inflate their costs!

Today, we create and execute highly effective advertising and marketing communications campaigns, all from a small town just an hour away from Minneapolis and a few hundred yards from the Mississippi River. We only work with clients who want to do good, strategic work and have some fun along the way. In the end, our work produces the same positive results as in our big-agency days, but at a much more reasonable price.
